Screenshot gallery pendingAI Bot Access Checker shows you, in one click, which AI crawlers, search engines, SEO tools, and social preview bots are allowed — or blocked — from accessing the website you're currently viewing. As AI search and AI training crawlers become a bigger part of how content gets discovered, knowing whether a site — yours, a competitor's, or a client's — is open or closed to these bots matters for SEO and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) work. WHAT IT CHECKS The extension fetches the current site's robots.txt and checks it against 27 known bots across four categories: - AI Crawlers (16) — covering major AI training and AI search bots - Search Engines (4) - SEO Tools (3) - Social Preview Bots (4) HOW IT WORKS - Click the toolbar icon to open the popup and see a full breakdown - A badge on the icon shows at a glance how many bots are blocked on the current site - Bots known to sometimes ignore robots.txt rules are flagged with a ⚠️ warning, so you don't mistake a "disallowed" rule for a guaranteed block - Every check is done fresh — nothing is cached or stored PRIVACY FIRST This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It does not use any external API or analytics. The only network request it makes is a direct, public fetch of the current site's robots.txt file — the same file any search engine or bot already reads. WHO THIS IS FOR SEO consultants, GEO/AEO specialists, content creators, and site owners who want a quick, no-signup way to audit AI bot access on any site without leaving the browser. A NOTE ON ACCURACY This tool checks robots.txt rules only. It cannot detect server-side or firewall-level blocks that happen outside robots.txt — server-side tools are required for that level of verification. When the extension can't reach a site's robots.txt, it tells you the likely reason (blocked, rate-limited, server error) rather than failing silently.
