Free Photo Collage Software
Photo Collage 3.1 — What's New Photo Collage has received its biggest update yet. This release rebuilds the core of the app, fixes long-standing problems, and adds the features people have asked for most — all while keeping the promise that made Photo Collage popular in the first place: everything happens right in your browser. Your photos are never uploaded to a server. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no waiting. You choose a layout, add your pictures, and download your finished collage to your computer in seconds. Fixes that bring the app back to life Several important features had stopped working over time, and this update repairs them. The Delete button on each photo now works again, so you can remove a picture from a slot with a single click. The layout picker has been corrected: the numbers you tap now match the number of photos in the layouts you see, and a brand-new single-photo option has been added for framing one image on its own. Replacing a photo now cleanly swaps the old picture for the new one instead of stacking them on top of each other. When you create your collage, the export is clean — the upload buttons and on-screen controls are no longer accidentally baked into the saved image. And the filter gallery is readable again, with every filter clearly labeled. A real Download button Saving your work used to mean right-clicking the image and hunting for "Save Image As." Now there is a proper Download button. Choose PNG for the highest quality or JPEG for a smaller file, click once, and your collage is saved with a tidy, dated filename. It is the single biggest improvement to the everyday experience of using the app. Faster ways to add photos Getting pictures into your collage is now effortless. You can still browse for files, but you can also drag images straight from your desktop or a folder and drop them onto any slot. You can paste an image directly from your clipboard with Ctrl+V. And when you pick several files at once, they automatically fill the empty slots for you, so building a multi-photo collage takes just a few seconds. More creative control This update gives you more ways to make a collage your own. Two additional photo filters — a classic sepia and the warm "brannan" look — join the existing gallery, giving you a wider range of styles. A full color picker sits alongside the preset swatches, so you can set the border and background to any color you like, not just the built-in options. New layout controls let you adjust the spacing between photos and round the corners of each picture with simple sliders. Aspect-ratio presets — including square 1:1, portrait 4:5 and 9:16, and widescreen 16:9 — make it easy to size your collage perfectly for social media, prints, or wallpapers, and you can still set an exact width and height by hand. Safer, faster, and more polished Under the hood, the extension has been modernized. The libraries it depends on have been updated to current, security-patched versions, closing known vulnerabilities. The packaging has been cleaned up so the extension installs and runs more reliably, and a large amount of unused code and dead files has been removed, making the app lighter and quicker to load. Typing a custom width or height now works smoothly, very large sizes are handled safely so exports never fail unexpectedly, and creating a collage is more robust — if anything goes wrong during rendering, the editor recovers gracefully instead of freezing. Built for the whole world Photo Collage speaks your language. The interface is available in more than 40 languages, and this update improves how translated text is handled throughout the app. Right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian now display correctly, with the layout mirrored the way it should be. Privacy first, always free Photo Collage remains completely free, with no watermarks and no hidden limits. Because all of the work is done locally in your browser, your images stay on your own computer — nothing is sent anywhere. It is a simple, private, and fast way to turn your favorite pictures into a beautiful collage. How to use it Click the toolbar icon to open Photo Collage in a new tab. Pick how many photos you want and choose a layout. Add your images by browsing, dragging and dropping, or pasting. Apply filters, choose your colors, and fine-tune the spacing, corners, and size. When you are happy, click Create Collage, then Download to save it to your computer. Thank you to everyone who sent feedback and reported issues — this update is built on it.
