Overview

Map Tools brings **Mapy.com** and **Google** closer together. It's a small set of tools built around one job: moving smoothly between Mapy.com and Google's maps and search — without copying addresses or coordinates by hand. **What it does** • **Switch maps in one click** — a button on both Google Maps and Mapy.com opens the other map at the exact same spot (location, zoom, search, and optionally a planned route). • **Map links in Google Search** — adds "Maps.google" and "Mapy.com" links to the Google search navigation bar so you can open your query on either map. • **Find from the right-click menu** — select any text on any page, right-click, and search it on Mapy.com or on Google Maps. Every tool can be turned on or off individually from the toolbar popup. **Why** Mapy.com has the best maps and trail data for Czechia and Slovakia, while Google Maps and Search are often better for reviews, hours and worldwide coverage. Map Tools lets you use the right service for the job with a single click. **Privacy** Map Tools does not collect, store or send any data anywhere. It only reads the current page URL / your text selection in your browser to build the matching link. No tracking, no accounts, no servers. Not affiliated with Google or Seznam.cz / Mapy.com. ## Permission justification (for store review) • storage — remembers your preferences (which tools are on, open in new tab). Stored locally in the browser; never transmitted. • contextMenus — adds the "Find on mapy.com" and "Find on Google Maps" items to the right-click menu. • Host access to google.com/maps, mapy.com / mapy.cz and google.com/search — required to add the switch button and the search links and to read the current map / search URL. ## Single purpose Help users move between Mapy.com and Google's maps and search: open the current view, query, or selected text on the other service.
