MozBar gives instant SEO metrics for any page or search result — page authority, domain authority, backlinks and on-page elements — right in your browser.
MozBar is the toolbar people install when a client asks for 'the DA'. Sign in with a free Moz account and it prints Domain Authority, Page Authority and spam score under every Google result and for whatever page you are on. There is also a page-analysis panel (title, meta, headings, link counts) and a highlighter that colours followed, nofollowed, internal and external links so you can see a page's linking at a glance.
One thing worth being clear about: DA and PA are Moz's own predictions, built from their link index. Google does not use them. They are handy for comparing two sites side by side, and useless as a target to optimise towards. Treat a DA of 40 versus 20 as 'this site has a stronger link profile', nothing more precise than that.
How to install and use MozBar
- 1Add it from the Chrome Web Store using the button above, then click the MozBar icon and sign in with a free Moz account.

- 3Click the icon on any page to open Page Analysis for on-page elements and link metrics.
