Click the toolbar icon, speak your mind, and your recording is saved — or jot a quick text note in a single click. Whether you are a teacher leaving audio feedback, a student capturing a thought after class, or simply someone who thinks out loud, Voice Notes turns fleeting ideas into something you can keep, find, and share. This release is a ground-up rebuild. We rewrote the recording engine, hardened your data, closed security gaps, and added the features people kept asking for. Here is what is new. RELIABLE RECORDING THAT NEVER DISAPPEARS Recording now runs in a dedicated background document, so it keeps going even if you click away, switch tabs, or the popup closes mid-sentence. The old version could lose an entire clip the moment you looked away — that problem is gone.
